InterSELT — a manufacturing enterprise. The client needed to leave Google Drive and meet data residency requirements — without changing familiar browser and desktop sync workflows. Deployed self-hosted corporate cloud, migrated 700,000+ files (~500 GB), and set up reliable operations: backups, protection against accidental deletion, HTTPS access.

Infrastructure & data residency
VPS and S3-compatible object storage under client data residency requirements. Employees work as before: browser, shared folders, Windows sync. The ~500 GB archive sits in separate object storage — scale storage without upgrading the app server each time. HTTPS with automatic certificate renewal.

Migration from Google Drive
Phased migration without downtime: main bulk first, then remaining files. Limited load on Google Drive to avoid disrupting work hours. After migration, verified volumes and spot-checked content — users were connected only when the archive was confirmed in place.

Reliability & backups
System settings and service data are saved automatically every day. Copies live in separate cold storage — if the main server fails, files are not lost. Accidentally deleted or overwritten files can be restored from version history and trash; old versions are pruned over time so storage does not grow unchecked.

Post-launch support
Configured sync clients for heavy CAD files and gave recommendations for large archives. Prepared admin guides: updates, maintenance, and disaster recovery.
